The Business Retention & Workforce Development committee met on November 16th at 8:30 am. The committee confirmed the breakfast meeting dates and locations. The Perdido Key Chamber’s first breakfast meeting of 2018
will be held Tuesday, February 27, 2018, beginning at 7:30 am at the Community Center located at 15500 Perdido Key Dr., Pensacola, FL 32507.
The committee is currently confirming a panel of local professionals to discuss and answer questions on a range of topics relating to HR, employee and workforce development. Subjects to include but not limited to; effective recruitment, interviewing, setting wages & benefits, updates on labor laws, training investing retaining and incentive’s for employees and empowering employees to achieve exceptional customer service.
Based on interest on any of these subjects, the Business Retention & Workforce Development committee will follow-up the February Breakfast meeting with a more in-depth workshop which will be held in March 2018, either as a morning “Breakfast Brief” or a “Lunch & Learn” located at the Chamber office.
